America's Best Restroom I, presented by Cintas

Yavneh Day School, Cincinnati OH

From the Nomination(s)
Sights and smells are important when it comes to a public restroom. But don't forget the intangibles, like TLC. From a school in Cincinnati comes a story of a shared restroom that was given a personal remodeling by two administrators.

The work seems to be appreciated, judging by comments such as: "They replaced the flooring, the wallpaper, painted and furnished it elegantly." "Just the thing to recharge one's batteries." "A bathroom break at Yavneh is like going home." "Provides a respite from the stress of the busy school environment."

From the Host
We used a picket fence/bird house theme. All items were donated by employees. A selection of potpourri , sprays and lotions are arranged on a charming shelf.

The idea for the bathroom was from our elementary school principal, Dr. Susan Moore. It has picket fence wall paper, a shelf with bird houses, a green mirror, flowers, and even a bird house light switch cover!
